Loaves & Fishes
In 1980, Loaves & Fishes began with a simple meal of bread and fish served to 11 adults and 15 children. Fast forward 40 years, and Loaves & Fishes now provides over 1.5 million meals each year to our hungry neighbors throughout Santa Clara and San Mateo counties in the Bay Area.
Martha's Kitchen
On a monthly basis, Martha’s Kitchen provides nearly 100,000 meals and distributes 250,000 pounds of groceries each month to those in need in nice counties in Northern California.
Sewa USA Bay Area Chapter
Sewa specializes in disaster relief and rehabilitation. Their development programs focuses on family services; child, tribal and refugee welfare; women empowerment; health; and education. In addition to our work in the US, SEWA has undertaken development projects in Colombia, Guyana, India, Kenya, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
County of Santa Clara Supervisor Otto Lee
As a father, veteran, and immigrant, Otto Lee has devoted his life to serving our community.
Order of Malta
The Order is one of the world’s oldest Christian institutions. In the 11th century Blessed Fra’ Gerard saw poor and sick pilgrims of all faiths lying in the streets of Jerusalem. To relieve their misery, he founded a religious order of Catholic men and women to serve the needy and procure the necessities of life for them.
Rotary Club of San Jose
The Rotary Club of San Jose is the largest, most active and well-known service organization in the community. We are a leadership organization working together to make a difference. Our members include local business, nonprofit, professional and civic leaders. We form lasting friendships through our shared Rotary experiences including weekly meetings with interesting speakers, committee meetings and projects, social events and group service projects within our community and internationally.
